About Adjustment Guidance

Adjustment Guidance uses a client-centered talk therapy approach grounded in compassion-focused therapy. Because adjustment guidance therapy is client-centered, the process always begins with listening to your specific needs. You are always the focus.

The goal of adjustment guidance therapy and counseling is to help you have more good days than bad and achieve your goals whether they be personal or professional. The process of having more good days than bad and achieving your goals starts with identifying what your barriers are. Once your barriers are identified, the process of unpacking begins. When you unpack, you will be able to see the obstacles you face more clearly and, with guidance, develop the tools and techniques necessary to overcome them.

Throughout the process, you will build a tool kit that allows you to apply what you have learned in therapy to real-life, real-time situations. You will develop a deeper understanding of your internal process and how to treat yourself with kindness and compassion while setting and achieving goals.
